The Ideal Height in General

Both men and women prefer the height of their partner to be above the average height. 

• The average man prefers a woman who is 5’6”. They consider 4’11” or shorter too short, and 6’0” or taller too tall. 

• For the average woman, the ideal height of a man is 5’11”. Women tend to say that a man of 5’4” or shorter is too short, and a romantic partner over 6’3” is too tall.  

There is, of course, a small percentage of men and women who do not have a height preference and say there is no such thing of too short or too tall for them.

The Height of the Ideal Partner Is Not Fixed

The ideal height for women and men are both relative to the height of the person in question. For example:

• Men who are taller than 6’0” generally prefer women of about 5’8” to 5’11”, while shorter men in the range of 5’8” to 5’11” tend to prefer women in the same height bracket. 

• Women of about 5’7” and shorter consider the ideal height of men to be 5’11”, but women taller than 5’8” want their men to be taller than 6’1”.

Intelligence

An intelligent boy may fall for a gorgeous girl, but if she doesn’t have any substance, he will lose interest fast. This doesn’t mean the girl has to have a doctorate degree; it just means having common sense and practicality. Street smarts, book smarts, and something other than a pretty face is a necessity if a woman wants to intrigue a man.

Femininity

Man absolutely loves softness and femininity in the woman he is romantic with. Sure, it’s nice to have a girl around who is just like “one of the guys,” but usually men are looking for a woman who carries herself and behaves like a woman. The more feminine a woman is, the more masculine she makes her man feel.

Attractiveness

Except the ideal height for women, physical attractiveness is important and should not be left out. After all, men are visual creatures who are turned on mostly by what they see. It’s the woman’s appearance that interests him in the first place, so don’t disappoint him by letting it go. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but all men like their women to have a nice body and pretty face.

Independence

The perfect woman will not cling too much to her man. She is independent and has her own life, her own social circle, and her own hobbies. Without any of these, she becomes a burden to her man and will drive him away, especially if he’s successful and independent himself. It’s never a good sign for a woman to never want to leave a man’s side.

Confidence

Confidence is probably the single most attractive trait in both men and women. Confidence in a woman means that she’s comfortable with herself and is proud of the woman she presents to the world. And men find this super sexy. Combined with great looks, a confident and beautiful woman is the ultimate package. 

Decisiveness

Men are so turned off by women who can’t make up their minds over trivial matters. If a guy asks “Where should we have dinner tonight?” he wants an answer! He does not want to hear “It’s up to you,” or “I don’t know.” He wants his woman to be able to make small choices for him, while he’s out making the big ones.

Loyalty

A loyal woman means that she has deep moral convictions. Loyalty is not so easy to find these days. Usually, when a man wins the heart of a loyal woman, he is pretty sure he’s landed a keeper. Loyal women think with their heads, and suppress impulsive, emotional and irrational desires. A grown man who's worth keeping around respects a loyal woman who will be faithful, far more than an easy lay.

Maturity

A woman cannot fake maturity. Maturity comes with years or a lifetime of experience. Immature women aren’t women--they are merely girls who haven’t grown up, who haven’t struggled, and who have likely never even had to try. Why would a man want a grown woman who acts like a teenager? Men are looking for a strong woman to hold him down when the going gets tough, not a baby he can’t rely on to take care of him.
